What I use is WinZip, or AlZip. I create the files with Alzip, which will decompress ovber 30 formats and creates about 8. But I've had no trouble with WinZip. Someone the other day was having trouble and was using WinRar, but I don't know where the error was.
Unzipping these large files is nearly impossible under DOS. For the 20-40MB files they might work.
But for the full Amigo it's better to use the above named under windows, or use the Slackware rescue floppy and linux unzip.

Re: Amigo FAQ Q's4&5

I have used 7-zip and unzip from http://www.info-zip.org/pub/infozip/
Works great.
