Do I understand correctly ? You want to stress your system ? You are looking for a benchmark easy to install, which will use cpu, disks and memory ?
What about the ssba suite ?
Have a look here :
http://www.afuu.fr/NEWWEB/afuu/bench/benchmarks.html

(of course, look only at the english part).

Yes, we want to max out the load on a few of our boxes. We are currently rewiring the data center and in order to balance the UPS' properly we need to know how much power these boxes draw under a full load.

Thumbs up

So, try the ssba suite, it's a good stressing tool.

I would like to, but I don't know French. If it was German I could stumble through it.

Basically, it's an open-style thing :
You donwload it
you type "./configure"
and then "make"
and then you read the error messages ("cc not found..."),
you should give it a try. Just download it and look if you can comile and run it, only spend a couple of hours to see if it's worh it.
