Starting(learning) AIX

Good Day,

I have been using RH/suse for a long time. I want to learn AIX now.
Can some please guide me.

1-can I set it up on my laptop?
2-Do I have to buy the software?
3-can it be setup on top of suse(XEN) virtual thing?

AIX is a commercial OS from IBM meant to run on IBM hardware - most specifically IBM servers (and a few other server-specific architectures like IA 64).

You cannot download it for free. It's a full blown commercial UNIX (R) operating system meant for enterprises.

Reading through wiki I found out AIX was command compatible with freeBsd 4.3.
I was able to find on FreeBsd 5.5 only. Tried it but FreeBsd 5.5 has different syntax from AIX.
So I gave up :-(

Thanks every one for your feed back.
