Problem during ftp ?
Download the files again, and install again.
Remember,
.bff files are installed using "smit install".
.rpm files are installed using rpm.

By the way, on which AIX are you trying to install ?

also, install wget 1st, then grab the files using wget .. loads easier ... you can set up a proxy server with wget if you need one etc... so you can grab then files straight from the AIX box.. no windows interaction at all.

IMHO that is
