Hi The error is
An error occurred copying a file to the FTP Server.Make sure you have permission to put files on the server
Details:
200 Type set to I.
200 Port command suceessful.
150 Opening data connection for openssl-0.9-1.aix5.1.ppc.rpm

I am doing the ftp as root user.Even then i am getting the same error If the file size is small i.e < 1 MB their is no error when comming to large file the error is coming

The only 2 things I can think of at the moment are: Is the server using quotas to restrict file size? Is the configuration of the FTP server limiting the maximum file size allowed?

hi ;
ı had the a similar problem but it was abput large file ;
1.3 gb file was being transferred untill error occured 1.07 gb copied ;ı was doing this as root but solved it by using other user oracle ; whose limits were set -1 (unlimited) by uısing
smit -> ..security and users (cant remember full destination)

Soft FILE size -1 (Unlimited)
Soft CPU time -1 (Unlimited)
Note: This is the default value.
Soft DATA segment -1 (Unlimited)
Soft STACK size -1 (Unlimited)

then it worked and I tranferred files .
