hi for all, first of all I apologize for my level in english. I have a problem with my nagios server to monitor AIX server. this is the my error's message. please I just find every where without have a solution. /etc/services, /usr/local/nagios/etc/nrpe.cfg are already configured. please can sombody help me??????
CHECK_NRPE: Received 0 bytes from daemon. Check the remote server logs for error messages
Well, did you check the remote server's log? (/var/log/messages or similar file)
There is no /var/log/messages on AIX system, the log directory is /var/adm/ras. But I don't find any answer there. somebody can list me all the firewall file in AIX
no, the nagios server run on redhat 6 and it has many clients(windows, linux and AIX). I have the problems to monitor linux and aix servers with the same error messages like the screeshot that i posted
