http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/ja...x/service.html

You can download the install packages from there. Put it into a directory on the AIX machine.

To install, enter smit, choose the options below:
1 software installation and maintenance
2 Install and update software
3 Install sofware
4 Apply the path to the directory that you put the files in
5 choose to install

the package will be installed to /usr/java6

If you're not on the latest ML, I'd be surprised if you didn't have to do any other AIX OS software updates for it to be installed. The install will let you know.

Ya,I downloaded the Java6.sdk from this site but according to the documents,
This package is required:

* Java6.sdk (license, base SDK, Web Start, and dt.jar)
but I didnt get all the supporting files with it..

When I am trying it as per you,I am getting the output which I attached with this reply..Please check it and help me to solve it..

It looks like the pre-req for the SDK is AIX 5.3 ML03, you can download it here:

there are a lot more dependencies now. As DukeSSD suggested, you are probably better off by going with a Maintenance release. 03 may work, but while you're at it you may as well go for the latest which is 8 I believe. We have 8 on a few machines here with no problems.
