Gdb error on Aix 4.3.3
 

Hi All,

After starting GDB on aix 4.3.3 i get the following error:

gdb) b main
Breakpoint 1 at 0x10045000: file ISTester.cpp, line 700.
(gdb) r Starting program: /homes/zivl/Work/Develop/V5R13_DEV/Source/Foundation/SmartIntegrationServices/Testers/ISConsoleTester_DS/Unix/IStester.AIX

Program terminated with signal SIGKILL, Killed.
The program no longer exists.
You can't do that without a process to debug


What should i do?

How far ahead is the breakpoint? Can you either move the breakpoint closer to the starting point or step thorugh the code until you hit the spot.

how many processors can a linux server support?can linux read data from ntfs partitions? what is the core of the linux system called? please email junebug76209@yahoo.com thanks

You'll get a much better response if you post Linux questions in one of the Linux forums and not the AIX forum. I'd suggest Linux-General.
