File system size


Hi,

I have created file system using smit of 32 mb but I want to know how to check file system size bcz whenever i am using command df -P it is showing 65535,how can i check size,

That looks correct. It is showing you the size in 512 byte blocks. Depending on your version of AIX you can also run the "-k" flag for kilobytes "-m" flag for megabytes or the "-g" flag for gigabytes. Does this help? Just man the "df" command and it all should be there.

you can also check for the size of the filesystem by the command lsfs <filesystem name>
