Smile Error while taking OS backup

Hi

I am getting follwing error while i tried to take OS backup using # smitty mksysb
Creating tape boot image.
0301-154 bosboot: missing proto file: /usr/lpp/bosinst/bi_main

0512-016 mksysb: Attempt to create a bootable tape failed:
bosboot -d /dev/rmt0.1 -a failed with return code 41.

As the error say missing "/usr/lpp/bosinst/bi_main" .Infact "/usr/lpp/bosinst" dir itself not there on my server.
So can I copy this particular dir from my other server.
Can anyone let me know, what could be the effet of it AS I CAN`T RISK AS ITS AN RUNNING PRODUCTION SERVER~

Thanks in advance

This file is part of bos.sysmgt.sysbr.
I would sugget you to re-install the bos.sysmgt.sysbr lpp and try again.
