DISK_ERR1 - definition?


I can't seem to find definitions of either error. Can someone help me understand what is going on here or point me to some documentation on the errors?

I'm seeing the following on one of my boxes:

I think the definition here is iminent drive faillure. from what I get of that listing it looks like your harddrive is producing read/write errors, i'd start backing up important data if I were you and perform some tests on it afterwards with Maxtor's PowerMax, for example.

If you have an external SCSI disk, this usually means that the SCSI cable starts being disconnected.
If you have an internal disk, have a look at the internal SCSI cable, between the disk and the SCSI board.
And, first of all, Xolo is right, making a backup is the most urgent thing to do.
