Question Disabled DLPAR Feature after installling AIX 6.1


I have configured and installed aix 6.1 on vio server 1.5

but after installing, it is not allowing me to change CPU and Memory Dynamically.

earlier when it was aix 5.3 this feature was working.

Please suggest.

wheather any changes needs to be done?

This is probably an RMC issue, you can try restarting and rebuild it if needed:

You could update to VIOS 2.x as well. VIOS 1.5 is pretty outmoded - no offense intended. Is there a reason you are still running 1.5?
