USB Storage and UAS

I'm running TheSSS and Trying to use a LaCie USB 3.0 HDD. It is listed when running lsusb and it is connects successfully, verified via dmesg. However, the driver usb-storage does not successfully mount it. When I plug the same HDD in another version of Linux, Kali, it is using uas and not usb-storage. So, how can I install uas?

After installing the drivers, the USB drive connected successfully. Thanks for the assistance. I used the information provided here, https://4mlinux.com/help.txt, to assist in the installation, replacing “4MLinux” with “TheSSS” where needed.
