In the end, I just copied an external HDD backup of my 4MLinux virtual machine image file to my PC. It boots fine now.

TheSSS 37.1 released.
This is a minor (point) release based on the 4MLinux Server 37.1, meaning that the components of the LAMP server are now: Linux 5.10.63, Apache 2.4.49, MariaDB 10.6.4, and PHP (both 5.6.40 and 7.4.23).
You can update your TheSSS by executing the "zk update" command (fully automatic process).

Hi Z. I just upgraded to 37.1 in a virt-man VM. No problems except a minor one - PCManFM resets its settings -- it was quick to change them to my preferred settings (single click, no delete confirms, etc.) again but thought I'd let you know anyway.
Well done!

Hi Z. My wallpaper resets after a reboot. I choose the 7.jpg (the cool one with the knight) instead of the default bg.jpg image. After a reboot, it reverts to the bg.jpg image.

Hi,
I can't reproduce this error. However, you can try the following workaround:
Code:
ln -sf /usr/share/jwm/bg/7.jpg /root/bg.jpg
.

I changed the wallpaper back to the knight image, ran that command, rebooted and it worked. :-)
Cheers, Z.
