This thread is for tracking the development of the 4MLinux 15.0 series.
4MLinux 15.0 Core BETA released.
This is a core system (only a few MB in size) for the 4MLinux 15.0 series. The system includes: the Linux kernel 4.1.10, GNU C Library 2.22, and BusyBox 1.24.1. The 4MLinux 15.0 series uses GNU Compiler Collection 5.2.0 to compile programs designed for the i686 architecture.
4MLinux 15.0 BETA released.
4MLinux 15.0 is ready for testing. Create your documents with LibreOffice 5.0.3.2 and share them using DropBox 3.10.11, surf the Internet with Firefox 42.0 and Chrome 46.0.2490.80, stay in touch with your friends via Skype 4.3.0.37 and Thunderbird 38.3.0, enjoy your music collection with Audacious 3.6.2 and aTunes 3.1.2, watch your favorite videos with MPlayer SVN-r37544 and VLC 2.2.1, play games with Xorg 1.17.2/Mesa 11.0.2 support enabled. You can also setup the 4MLinux LAMP Server (Linux 4.1.10, Apache 2.4.17, MariaDB 10.1.8, and PHP 5.6.14). Perl 5.22.0 and Python 2.7.10 are also available.
Is there a chance you might replace LILO with GRUB or GRUB2 in a future version, so 4M plays nice with other distros on the same drive? Or is my inexperience showing and there is something I'm missing? Thanks for your valuable time.

It's hard to follow his train of thought. It does show up as unknown Linux distro. I have no problem with that. Forget LILO's "not playing well" with other boot loaders and allow me to return to the base question. Do you think you might ever "upgrade" to Grub2?
BTW, I love the new wallpaper in 15.0. Thanks for your efforts creating 4M.

No. I won't forget. Upstream (Debian developers of the os-prober package) has received a patch from me.

Grub2 is running happily on 4MLinux ALFA (i.e. my laptop :-) It should be available as a downloadable extension soon.

Antivirus Live CD 15.0-0.98.7 available for download.
Antivirus Live CD is an official 4MLinux fork including the ClamAV scanner. It's designed for users who need a lightweight live CD, which will help them to protect their computers against viruses. The latest version 15.0-0.98.7 is based on 4MLinux 15.0 and ClamAV 0.98.7.
4MRecover is a small live CD designed for data recovery. It's a part of 4MRescueKit, which in turn is one of the three main 4MLinux releases available for download. This version includes TestDisk 7.0 and it uses 4MLinux 15.0 as the base system.
BakAndImgCD is an official 4MLinux fork, which has been designed to perform the following two tasks: data backup (the supported filesystems are: btrfs, ext2, ext3, ext4, f2fs, fat16, fat32, hfs, hfs+, jfs, nilfs2, ntfs, reiser4, reiserfs, and xfs) and disk imaging (using Partimage, Partclone, and GNU ddrescue). This release is based on the 4MLinux Backup Scripts 15.0.
4MParted is a very small live CD designed for disk partitioning. It's a part of 4MRescueKit, which in turn is one of the three main 4MLinux releases available for download.
This version includes GParted 0.24.0 and it uses 4MLinux 15.0 as the base system.
Just adding easy info. Trying not to hijack or pollute your thread. My md5sum (name of file) text file in my 4MLinux folder I keep to keep track of things .
The ISO mentioned by you is available here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/linu...s/15.0/livecd/
You must click on the "View details" icon (dark circle with the "i" letter inside).
You will find SHA1 and MD5 checksums there.
