Semi-offline update is possible.
Online update:
Execute "zk update":

The latest stable version is:
4MLinux-25.0-32bit.iso
Do you wish to continue (y/n)?: y

Semi-offline update:
Put the copy of the ISO image in the /root directory. Now run the "zk update" command. 4MLinux will now download only a very small info file (the ISO image in the /root directory will be used to update your system).
PS.
Theoretically speaking, you can also try to preform regular installation (using live CD/USB)
without formatting the target partition.
