How to poweroff directly?

Hi,

Is there a direct way to poweroff or reboot without the extra step of exiting JWM and then type exit?

Thank you.

Just hit the PowerOff button :-)

By default, the /etc/acpi/button.cfg file looks as follows:
Code:

# Default action when PowerOff Button is pressed:
poweroff

This is safe (acpi daemon+init+shutdown script should cleanly power off your machine).
