How to disable automatic updates in Firefox (in 4MLinux)

Disabling automatic updates in newer versions of Firefox is not a trivial task.

Code:
mkdir /opt/firefox/distribution
echo '
{
 "policies": {
   "DisableAppUpdate": true
 }
}
' > /opt/firefox/distribution/policies.json
You can use this in case of problems like the one reported here:
https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...ml#post5957114
