Change installer to /dev/sdb

Finally have some time to explore 4M. What are the chances of modifying the install script (still haven't found it) to install on /sdb?

TIA

I haven't used 4M, but most, if not all, installers ask you where you want to install to - does 4M not ask?

Edit: Take a look at http://4mlinux.blogspot.co.uk/2013/0...-your-hdd.html - see 2) Read the instructions and press Enter to continue:

Choices are only partitions on sda. Looking for sdb. Will need to set up a machine with only one drive.
Thx for the reply.

Thx for the reply. Found some useful info on that page. Will set up a dedicated machine for exploring 4M Linux.

I tried removing hard drive first

I know its an old post, but i was interested in doing the same thing and ran into the same issue of the installer finding only the hard drive. I removed my hard drive and the 4MLinux installer saw my flash drive, installed the os, but I ended up with a kernal panic and error message (no, I didn't write it down). When I have more time I plan to retry and look for a solution.
