4MLinux Antivirus manual scan options
Doing a full scan via antivir command gives you an option on what to do with the infected files.
But I've noticed that doing a manual scan of a file or folder for example via clamscan command only brings up a summary even after an infected file is found. Is there a way to bring up that option during manual scan? |

1) Location of log file. 2) Location of quarantine. 3) Statement that suspicious files will be deleted. This depends on the scan option chosen by you. |

Once I typed in antivir, it gave me an option to update the program and signature db. After being updated, it asked me what I wanted to do if infected files are found, after choosing it starts to do a full system scan. On a different scenario: Manual scan via clamscan script only brings up a summary. What I'm asking is, is there a way to bring up the [what to do with the infected files option] during a manual scan of a file or folder? |

My script is setup for scanning all files. For scanning selected files only, you must refer to the ClamAV documentation (https://www.clamav.net). |

I acknowledge that the antivir script gives you an option on what to do with infected files prior to scanning. We both agree on that right? Which brings me to my question. Is there a way to bring up that same options [on what to do with infected files] during a selective scan of a file when using the clamscan script? |
