View Poll Results: Digital Audio Workstation of the Year
REAPER has replaced Audacity for me and rightfully so. Admittedly, it is less of a "free" product than some others, but it is very worth every resource. Good job, ex-Nullsoft!
Audacity is my go to across 3 platforms for years now.
If you know it well, its abilities are incredible for music recording
and audio editing. The little tool that does a lot for its size.
Audacity also gets my "audacious" vote. Although there is some question whether it fully qualifies as a "DAW," that depends on your definition and your exact needs. It is a thoroughly professional and full-featured piece of software, rock stable, that can be and has been used for professional work. Runs on everything. "Recommended without hesitation." Extremely good at what it does.
