Of choice, I put Xmms, but tend to use Parole Media Player, (not listed), as it comes with my distro choice, Devuan.

I like QMMP because I can use my extensive collection of Winamp (remember Winamp?) skins with it, in addition to the collection of native QMMP skins.

I used to use MOC for many years, but it had some problems loading online radio playlists. It's also, sorry to say, not well developed.

So, MPD it is, with ncmpcpp as a frontend. It's skinable.

You're needless splitting votes among the console users.

Most console users (or just me because I'm so great), likely use a mix of aplay, mpg123, mpg321, mplayer, and mpv.

So likely either group the legacy console applications all together, or at least provide mpg123/mpg321 and mplayer/mpv catagories.

I voted Open Cubic Player, but heard some people like the similar cmus.
