My experience is limited with Clipboard managers with only Parcellite. But, after using Parcellite for a while now I like it and it meets my needs. So, I cast my vote for Parcellite.

I noticed that clipit & parcellite are near identical.
I've been using clipit for ages, but now discovered that parcellite is in [community] while clipit is "only" in the AUR.
Voted parcellite.

What are some main advantages of any of these over the clipboard manager built into KDE? Just curious if it is worth exploring since I've never felt like something is missing from it.

Clipman works for me. Of course, that comes with XFCE. It IS lightweight, but after years of using it I don't miss any additional features too much from the one I used in MS XP years ago: Ditto (and that was an add-on with a ton of features, not light at all. But at least it came with GPL-3) Apparently Copy-Q comes pretty close if you're used to Ditto on the other OS.
