A new category last year.

Voted FreeFileSync again. It lacks FTP support on Linux and doesn't have the capability to natively synchronise to an archive format, but it is easy to use and does what it is supposed to very well.

No luckyBackup or Grsync?

I didn't see explanations in new categories, but if those are somewhere, can you state? If not, how are these different/more than software such as (g)rysnc?

I don't use any of them, but I'm researching whether ownCloud may fit my needs.

And what I need is IMAP server, CalDAV server, CardDAV server, ActiveSync server. And, ideally, an ActiveSync server which can use as data backends those IMAP, CalDAV and CardDAV servers.

What's wrong with rsync? It syncs files both locally and over network--to cloud space if you desire--and it's probably the backend to some of the services listed in this poll... why not cut to the cheese?
