are there any browser privacy apps that do not monetize and package out my privacy, checking terms of use etc always involves third parties etc 'to better serve me', i would add 'to better serve me up to capitalists'

Ublock Origin, although that was a tough choice since I also use NoScript.

uMatrix: The better NoScript, even (potentially) replacing an ad blocker since it explicitly allows blocking third-party images selectively or globally.

noscript, I just hope it stays around, because the others are not as good IMHO.

Also using both, I went the other way and chose NoScript just because, after some initial teething problems, I actually prefer NoScript's new interface using the WebExtensions API.

I would vote for Adblock Latitude which is an add-on for PaleMoon if that were a choice in the voting. Blocks almost all ads except for those on whitelisted pages.

I wanted to click uBlock origin, uMatrix and NoScript. Oh yes, and Ghostery and HTTPS-Everywhere. Who uses only one addon? I vote for multiple choice here (and uMatrix for now).

for me, running seamonkey, it's a combination of noscript and RequestPolicyContinued addons.
not to mention passive url blocking via /etc/hosts.

edit:
recently also automatic cookie & cruft cleanup addon called cookie exterminator.

Voted HTTPS Everywhere, because I’m using it in Firefox on all installed distros.

But I think it’s a good idea to have more than just HTTPSE, so to try out other solutions, each Firefox also has one of Disconnect, Ghostery, NoScript, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin, or uMatrix (all my installed distros have more than one user.)

Voted for uBlck as it seems to have somewhat cleaned my web browsing experience and, sadly, NoScript seems to have become a cunfusing mess of options no longer goiving the ability to whitelist, or blacklist, by domain alone but requiring some other kind of per-page annoyance.

@273 uBlock origin(!) and uMatrix allow (and do) black-/whitelisting. Try clicking on the symbols in their respective menus (I think the little "star" or the three lines) to call up the internal workings...
