Is it too late to add Raspberry Pi?

I'm gonna study them all while wishing I had money to spend... :D (and edit\add when I do, think of how informed we will be... ;))
Thanks!

No RPi so no vote

I realize the RPi is not strictly open source due to its processor but leaving it out here is just hairsplitting. It runs linux out of the box and just works. I did not vote in this poll because of its ommission.

I'd take a minnowboard over a pi any day.

jamison20000e 01-05-2016 09:45 PM

That new Pi0 is cool (if my Pi ever dies that is what I will get) but FOSS is one thing, true freedom is another and hardware seems the toughest bound...

:) Am leaning* towards Arduino; something about the fact that one can make it basically from RadioShack (https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/Standalone) seems right to me, however how "open" are shields?

I looks really good - it's just I can buy 5 RPis for the price of 1 minnowboard. I think the whole point/appeal of RPis is that they are so cheap for what they offer.

How cool is that?:)

I hate voting in the LQMCA because I wish to kno the results now! :) (....but, I learn. ;)) +1 Arduino.

Would have voted for NTC CHIP if it were there. That one really needs to be there.

jamison20000e 01-06-2016 02:33 PM

Is this it, Randompie?
