Hmm.. Never voted in the category before, Most of the games I play are not open source. I have played OpenArena so it gets my vote. I think I am going to try a few of these and be ready next year.

For my son of course.

I like Emilia Pinball. I've tried it using OpenGL/SDL and Allegro as back ends and just got it ported to work with SDL (which can be built with DirectFB) and PicoGL for systems that may not have OpenGL and/or X installed.

I also like Shifty Game's Open Source Hangman, Scramble and Concentration which work with SDL.

There are open source games? (Ducking....)

Just Kidding. FreeCiv all the way. Also like Einstein, but it isn't listed. Have to come back and check out some of the others though.

Hi. I picked 0 A.D. because it's the only game besides some on PS3 and Xmoto that I've played lately so I will study this list (and hope it grows) with my nephews.

Guillaume Cottenceau is the man

Back in the day, the emails saying "please test frozen bubble" introduced me to a great time-killer which was actually fun.
