VoIP Application of the Year
 

A fairly new category that had a runaway winner last year. I'd be interested in hearing feedback on this category.

And again no Asterisk here :( There was requests to add it last year and so requesting now.

I know we sometimes put items that are difficult to compare into the same polls, but having a complete PBX solution that includes PSTN support in the same poll as VoIP client apps doesn't seem useful to me.

I voted for none of 'em. I don't do Facebook, Twitter, VoIP, IM's, Hoolu or any other streaming video designed to HOG the Internet! It's a series of tubes! :)

p/s Of course I use HughesNet so I CAN'T hog bandwidth ...drats!

Skype :( had no chance to test Emphaty or Google Chat Vo-ip functions :( must add it on todo list this year. Skype software has own security risks.

Skype, but I didn't try others. :(

After giving up on Skype's failure to integrate with linux audio I have tried a few of these with a SIP account. Ekiga, SFLphone and Linphone fail to connect. Blink and Jitsi work fine.

Don't do much voip'ing but Jitsi gets the nod on this one.
