Youtube video editor?

If ffmpeg and avidemux (uses mencoder) is on there, maybe mencoder should also be on there.

avidemux gets my vote; if not for the preset of PSPvideo conversion so I can put tv,movies, and video projects on my PSP ... I would have gone with Openshot though.

Kdenlive. Its competition (PiTiVi, Cinelerra, OpenShot...) doesn't even come close. In particular, kdenlive has a much higher and more precise zoom level than OpenShot, and it shows audio waveforms (which OpenShot did not, last I checked).

Also, I know I'm late on this but: where's mencoder?

metalaarif 01-04-2012 05:58 AM

FFmpeg

Openshot

I chose Openshot, but Kdenlive is really good too, with a bit more candy.

I hope that helps :)

Kindest regards,

.

I went with OpenShot for this one but I'm actually in the process of moving over to Blender. I really like OpenShot but it doesn't seem to handle videos in excess of 40 minutes very well and there seems to be an issue with the video previews glitching up after a while (I'm thoroughly convinced this has something to do with SDL though).

i use xvidenc/h264enc which uses mencoder so i cant vote for this thread yet.

H_TeXMeX_H 01-09-2012 02:59 AM

I think mencoder should be added.

PiTiVi

PiTiVi gets my vote for being easy to use and it does exactly what I need in a video editor.

alleyoopster 02-01-2012 05:48 AM

I see tovid, but what about devede?

savotije 02-06-2012 01:06 PM
