I'm voting for cinelerra this time because it is the only non-linear video editor that
meets somewhat advanced requirements. All effects are keyframeable, it can use alpha-masks,
also with keyframes (to pixelize peoples faces for example). And so on ...
Yes, it is fiddly. Yes, the developer guy seems to be a bit strange person.
But it speaks for itself that, after all those years, there's still no other
editor that can compete, feature wise.
btw. does ffmpeg go as "video authoring application" ?
I'm wondering what you guys think the best program for editing family videos and burning them to DVD's is? It would be nice if it was easy enough for my mum to use as well.
