I liked firefox ( I mean debian's version: iceweasel), but it was so slow to start/ open new tabs I got sick of it. Chrome is really great! Although for greasemonkey scripts that need to check other tabs I still use iceweasel a bit.
Hooah for chrome! |
opera indeed. was a proud paid user of opera ever since v6 and used 95%+.

Firefox is better in terms of flash support and dev needs.. but chrome is better in day-to-day tasks.. and have flash killer builtin (shift+esc)
|
I like the new beta9 of Firefox. I've tried others, and I still keep Opera updated, but Firefox is 99.9 for me.
|
in Ubuntu I use Seamonkey and Firefox,
in windows , i use IE8 and Avant Browser |
Chrome is the fastest, Firefox the most reliable...
and Opera is beautiful.

I would say Firefox, but Chrome has made quite the impression this last year, and the one factor that has actually made the difference between FFX and Chrome for me is the fact that Chrome opens when I click the icon, as opposed to Firefox which makes me wait for a few seconds (sometimes up to a minute)

I am loving the latest Chrome. Used to use FF but it was giving me lots of trouble - buttons not working, etc.
|
Chrome without doubts!

Firefox seems to run the best on Linux, for me anyway. I have an old P4 and a new AMD dual core and Chromium (stable, daily, all of them) run terribly on both. Graphical glitches galore. Maybe it's the humidity or something, but Chromium is excruciatingly slower than both Opera and Firefox. I guess it's just on my machines since everybody raves about it's speed so much.
And Firefox has the ability to, you know, deal with bookmarks in a reasonable way, mass download, and so on. Opera's ok, but it's closed source and its too much work to use the conveniently built in features like user styles and scripts. I can just pick up Firefox and go! |
