I mostly use MPlayer right from the terminal for playing my music. Lately though I have been very impressed with Exaile. It has all the features of Amarok or Rhythmbox, but it runs much lighter and uses fewer resources than either of them. Exaile would be my choice for a full featured music player.

Voted for Amarok because I like some features: tree style browsing, easy to drag and drop, easy to search... but the current version is lack of turn the volume slow down feature when exit.

Why no moc?

I used to use mpd/ncmpc most of the time, but switched to moc.

I still use xmms (IMO it still produces the best sound), alsaplayer is ok, and I can't stand amarok.
