Nero Linux 3 is my choice. I better pay 20$ then face multiple k3b bugs.

Zeppe|in 01-15-2009 07:30 AM

Can you add brasero pleaze ?

bulava 01-15-2009 05:05 PM

Again it's a true cross-platform success like VLC; ffmpeg simply the best. Many tools add their wrappers on the ffmpeg.

theriddle 01-15-2009 06:11 PM

I must say K3B, since a lot of users from both DEs use it.

b2bwild 01-16-2009 12:56 AM

My vote for GStreamer..
F-Spot
DVD::Rip
but why to Compare decoders, CD/DVD andPhoto Album softwares?

MetalheadGautham 01-16-2009 01:28 PM

FFMPEG obviously. It can act as backend to most other multimedia utilities.

fstreed 01-18-2009 12:37 PM

I vote digiKam. Plug a digital camera in and it just works.

I also like K3b.

Reasa 01-24-2009 08:06 AM

I only know k3b from this list, are the other good? ^_~

ephemeros 01-31-2009 05:38 AM

hard to choose between GStreamer and FFmpeg. voted FFmpeg.
edit: yeah, i agree with some of you guys, FFmpeg is kinda overlooked but used by many other MM components. + stable and functional.

SkyEye 01-31-2009 03:47 PM

No XBMC? Really? Then FFmpeg

raju.mopidevi 02-03-2009 07:05 PM

Dvd :: Rip

dora 02-06-2009 03:59 PM

Voted for GStreamer. Currently trying out K3b.
