psad is a popular tool used for security, could we get that added?

jeremy 01-07-2009 03:28 PM

psad is in the Network Security poll.

Doh, I didn't actually see that one. When did you make the name change by the way? ;)

jeremy 01-07-2009 04:44 PM

The two security polls were split last year.

SElinux...I am with You...

Again, SELinux + ClamAV :)

Sadly still SELinux is not really easy to get on to many (rants I keep hearing!). They just simply disable it :p

'SELinux'
Time for some serious security.

Fred Caro 01-17-2009 09:34 AM

Selinux

At the risk of speaking from ignorance (not that it normally stops me) Selinux can be a bit overbearing and sorting out it's highlighted problems can be a bit perplexing for us numpties. Better to have something running in the background that blocks potential problems before it happens- nice thought, I know.

Fred.
