sweet...I was just thinking about how dwm tore me away from fluxbox this past year =o)

OpenBox is the best here IMHO, no doubt for me.

what about Sun's Project Looking Glass?
It rox my sox ;) |
Ratpoison. It's the ultimate anti-desktop. The developers of Ratpoison have done great work in getting rid of all the useless eye-candy.
Ratpoison helps me to fully concentrate on one task/application at a time. There are no annoying pop-up notifications or any other causes of disturbance in Ratpoison. Ratpoison suits my needs perfectly. :) Read this Ratpoison review for additional information: http://freshmeat.net/articles/view/581/ |
Fluxbox is light, fast and highly configurable. Fantastic.

I love Enlightenment DR17. 16 wss a nice WM, especially on top of Gnome, but 17 is awesome!
|
Beryl is not a toy! It is fantastic for work.
|
Fluxbox is excellent! But I haven't found a cool theme for it yet :(
|
I've been using Xfwm4 for most of the year but ever since Beryl started to work, I couldn't opt for anything else.

Hello,
I love FVWM! It is my primary X enviroment on Slackware. It is the best and most versatile Windows Manager I have ever encountered. It rivals KDE for flexibility and a fraction of the size and drain on a system. I can make FVWM look and function like CDE or MAC OS or Windows XP or Vista (whenever it comes out). |
Enlightment is my choice.
|
I have voted for IceWM, but I've just installed E17. It's just amazing. Never seen such a beatiful combination of rapidity, eyecandy and flexibility. It's a revolutionary window manager and it's definately my choice!
|
Less is more! Fluxbox for ever!
|
Hopefully pyWM will make it to this list on day. If that project ever gets its footing, Im sure alot of people will like it. Theres nothing better than being able to add features that you think of on the fly. Its really cool.
