Can we have an option for RealPlayer please?
I'd say Helix is the best representation of Real on Linux. If there is sufficient demand we can also add the traditional "Real" player, but I left it off since it's based on Helix.

I use gxine and mplayer but I do prefer gxine. It's just very simple to use and doesn't get in my way at all. Since gxine is based on xine, xine gets my vote.
VLC BABY!
I just couldn't live without being able to retranscode anything I can watch. Plus it can play almost everything. |
kaffeine and I must admit the only other one I have tried is Helix
VLC for me, though i must say i don't dislike mplayer. But VLC just rox if you ask me.
Kaffeine yes. Mplayer is a close second.
VLC is for me...and mplayer.
mplayer is the best for me, it play anything I have
Xine for simplicity, Mplayer for multi-videotype-support..
I'll flip a coin for which one I shall vote for.. Heads = xine Tails = mplayer and the result is.. TAILS.. Congratulation Mplayer, you got my vote! |
KMplayer
This year I started using KMplayer. I like it because it is small and fast and the user interface gives as much room as possible to video. Too bad you don't have KMplayer on the list, so I voted for Kaffeine which I was using before KMplayer.
Mplayer once you put all the codecs on it.
In fact, I love kmplayer, but no option for it here.
Voted for MPlayer.
