It's GAIM for me, although I do use XChat almost just as often.

Gaim and Xchat. Sometimes bitchx

anupamsr 03-01-2006 01:38 AM

Psi all the way... and with Psi-jingle, it has got VoP!

Kopete sucks big time. No proxy support after so much time! What are you doing developers? Adding unneeded functionality and ignoring needed basic ones?

There is two protocols I use; Jabber/XMPP and MSN. For Jabber I would say Gajim, for MSN I would say aMSN, if I only could choose one... Kopete.

My kids are (as kids are nowadays) heavy users of MSN network .. but we don't have any windows PC's online. They used to use amsn but they switched to gaim when they had a problem exchanging a file using amsn. Gaim just seems to do the business, although the default sounds are a bit cheesy. Its a great prog IMO

Word! I have been trying to find suitable (and FREE ¿) sounds to replace the default GAIM sounds.
