X on samsung X05 Laptop

I cant seem to get this working with FBSD 5.4.

It starts, and runs ok, but only at 800x600. No matter what I do I cant get it to run at its native 1024x768. It just makes it so i have to scroll around the desktop by moving the mouse to the edge.

my /etc/X11/xorg.conf:

Section "Module"
Load "dbe" # Double buffer extension
SubSection "extmod"
Option "omit xfree86-dga" # don't initialise the DGA extension
EndSubSection

What happens if you comment out the "virtual" line like so:

Section "Screen"
Identifier "Screen 1"
Device "Video1"
Monitor "Monitor1"
DefaultDepth 24
Subsection "Display"
Depth 24
Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
ViewPort 0 0
# Virtual 1152 900
EndSubsection
EndSection

Cheers--
Charles
