Question OpenBSD: exiting fluxbox issue

I'm trying to get fluxbox to work with OpenBSD 3.6.

I pkg_added fluxbox from the ftp site and created a .xinitrc file in my home directory with just "exec fluxbox" inside. It starts up with "startx" up ok and everything works fine. But when I try click on exit to try and get back to the command line, the screen just goes blank. I can't change screens or get the computer to respond in any way. I'd have to power my pc off and restart it.

Exiting works fine with the default fvwm so I'm not sure what's going on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Let me know if you need more info.

What happens if you exit fluxbox with "ctrl + alt + backspace". I never use exit myself, takes too long
