netBSD on a PowerBook G3 (Old World)

got it all installed, but I'm having trouble telling Open Firmware (2.1.x) where to find teh HD to boot from
Only one HD on the laptop, ATA according to the apple.com specs.

I know about 'setenv boot-device [device}'

but it's the actuall device I can't figure. I get a lot of Cant open [device] after I reboot.

anyone?

thanks in advance
