Question How to dual boot PC-BSD with XP?

Hi, I want to install PC-BSD, and dual boot it with XP. To do this, unfortunately, I will have to run it on the same hard-drive as XP.
So, what steps should I follow to set this up?
Right now, I am thinking:
1. Boot up Gparted and create a partition for bsd (Fat32?), and a swap.
2. Install bsd
3. Bootloader? To make it dual boot, I need a boot loader of some sort, but I'm thinking if I install the default PC-bsd one over the MBR, windows might not be able to boot correctly...

I'm a little confused. :P

When you have read the links posted above here just a few (hopefully helpful) remarks:

When you have decided which primary partition you will use prepare the layout of the slice on paper with a pen -- this is really helpful when you come at last to implement it.

A further option is the installation of the BSD-loader in the slice. Edit the boot.ini (I hope XP has one like NT) to point at the slice and chainload the BSD-loader. HTH.

boot, dual
