Question FTP FreeBSD to Mac > CD > x86 install??

None of the docs I have read so far can yet answer this: can I FTP a FreeBSD to my Mac and cut it to CD and then boot my x86 (now running RH 7.2) and install it?

Yes, you can. I've done so with many many Linux and *BSD distro's already. No problems encountered so far. Well, except for the refusal of my laptop to boot from CDs, but whatever. Unrelated.

Well, it can't possibly be as slow as the computer I'm typing this from.... (Celeron 366MHz... yay!).
