FreeBSD on ubuntu using Virtualbox
Everytime I try to install Freebsd on ubuntu using virtualbox it installs a bit and then just reboots. It says something about "no dump"?

Anyone know what to do?

hmm...first of all I'm not a Ubuntu lover. more of a hater.
1. try vmware instead of virtualbox
2. provide more detailed facts. on what step of the install does it give you that error? provide detailed error message. try to reproduce the same error with different settings, etc.

FreeBSD as both host and guest in virtualbox doesn't play nice. This has to do with system calls and how kbuild changes permissions.
The suggestion for vmware would work. Qemu also works. So does xen.

Just avoid VMware's 2 series. You will get stuck with the absolute worst Ethernet card that was ever invented. The older series of VMware let you edit the .vmx file to use a better card.
