Void: Transient resolver failure
Hi!
I understand this is not the real place to be asking about Void, but since I haven't found a better alternative and having been well received in a previous thread - which was promptly solved here - I am trying again. I will be thankful if anyone points a proper place to seek support on Void. I may have missed some link in Voids website, but I did look for it. Edit > I have forgot to enclose the images. Doing it in the next post I am trying to update and have got an error: Code:
xbps-install -Su Code:
xbps-install -u xbps Code:
xbps-install -Su The update process seemed to stall at the last line in the attached image Scene_1. I remember that the size to download at the beginning of the process had been slightly larger than 1100MB. After waiting a long time, and that after being away from the computer for some hours, I looked at top output for some minutes (enclosed image "Scene_2") and then decided to break the process of updating. When I once more tried Code:
xbps-install xbps I suspect that the thing to do here might be to wait some hours or 1 or 2 days and try again, but since I have no concrete information to guarantee my suspicion I am seeking your kind advice. EDIT: I have forgot to attach the images. Doing it in next post. |

Short after I posted my latest post I tried again and the updated succeeded.
But thanks anyway that LQ offered the opportunity to feel less stressed, by posting my questions. It is a great help to me, which has in many cases led me to found a solution. |
