Upgrade XF86 ?


hello ,
i am using openbsd 3.2 and XFree 4.2 , i want to use the 4.3 version , i install by ports and i want to know step by step how to upgrade my xfree4.2 and if possible keep my XFConfig file

thx.

First, check to see if your XF86Config file is compatible with 4.3 (I don't know if it is offhand, been outta the loop for a while..) Secondly, the documentation with the XFree86 project is pretty good. Follow the guidance of the README or INSTALL documentation included with XFree86.

Regarding XF86Config, I kept my old one without any problems (yet )
