norwegian keyboard in gnome-terminal

OK, i installed freeBSD today. The install was fine, everything works just fine, except one thing. I have configured my keyboard to be norwegian (no_latin ?) and it works in X -apps like mozilla and open office. The problem is in the terminal. I can't write the letters זרו! Does anybody know what the problem might be ? I have checked /etc/rc.conf and everything seems to be OK there. Thanks for any help you can give me.
