"NON-RECOVERABLE RESOLVER ERROR" when installing ports

Here is the error i'm getting when trying to install APACHE 2 web server.

>> Attempting to fetch from .
Code:
ftp://ftp.FreeBSD.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/distfiles/apache2/
fetch: .
Code:
ftp://ftp.FreeBSD.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/distfiles/apache2/
Non-recoverable resolver failure
>> Couldn't fetch it - please try to retrieve this
>> port manually into /usr/ports/distfiles/apache2 and try again.
*** Error code 1

I have my firewall, bind, and everything else working correctly, after many many hours.

When i run an NSLOOKUP i get an ip as well as when i run dig, i can view all records, so bind and my firewall are working, i've got the latest cvsup for ver 4.9 release. I've also checked out all the links for this port as well, they all seem to be valid links. I am just stumped on what could be wrong

Any help would be appreciated
