I downloaded FreeBSD iso's & i'd like to install it throught the network.
So i made the 2 bootdisk, sat up the NFS server and started the procedure....
everythings goes fine (slicing & partioning, select NFS install, setting up IP, hostname...) but when it should get the files from the NFS server i got this error message :
"Unable to transfer the bin distribution from 192.168.x.x:/home/iso/freebds410"
i guess i know where the problem comes from : i already did network install but i always used the cd's that i copied to the NFS server's harddrive. So error might comes from the iso format.
The stuff is that i want to network install not cause i'm too greedy to use 2 cdroms but because i admit do not know how to burn with Linux (i actually have quite good mas storage, so i didn't work on that.)
So my question would be : is there a way to network install with these iso's or do i have to burn them (...and copy them again in my NFS directory to finish my network install...) ; or do i should just get infos & learn to burn?!?
