I just went to check info. on Net BSD download. It is split into several small ISO files. Why is that ? How many Megs is the total download ? Does one download all the pieces and then burn them into one big ISO ?
Depends on the architecture you are on. The definitive answer is ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/iso/1.6/README if go to here ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/iso/1.6 you will see the size as i have no idea what exactly you are downloading (arch,pkgs...) If you are not downloading 1.6 you can find the info for 1.x on the same site. just up one level in the directory.
