to start with, no, PLEASE DO NOT BLINDLY COPY THE CONFIG FILE (considering you understand where the file resides). First, check the version of Sendmail being run, then check the userbase (local or database driven), then check whether you need additional care for migration (downtime, moving already intake mails, setting proper permissions, etc.)
Please read/study/brainstorm as much as you can, prior to taking the first step in any production server.
